Location: Schuykill Haven Area High School
Date/Time: Saturday, June 18. Check in 11 am, combine 12:00 – 4:30 pm

This is a great opportunity for any local student athlete interested in playing at the next level to showcase their skills in front of college football coaches as well as a nice opportunity for the younger kids to learn how to play the game and receive instruction from HS Coaches and players from throughout the area.

The combine is open to players from any county, area or district in PA, the name was chosen due to location.

“A big thank you to everyone involved, especially the generous people at Alpine Building Supply and their companies for everything they have done to make this possible. We just want to help put kids from from the area in a greater position to be successful, and if this helps then we did our job.” Tom Gallagher, Head Football Coach Blue Mountain.

In addition to the combine, we’ll have guest speakers to help answer any questions about the recruiting process. Scheduled to speak are:

-Bloomsburg University Head Football Coach Frank Sheptock. What college coaches look for in student-athletes”
-USFL Pittsburgh Maulers OC/QB coach John Tomlinson. The importance of work ethic and team culture”
-Lebanon Valley Head Football Coach Joe Buehler. “The importance of character and choices” & owner Billy Splain. “Everything you need to know about the recruiting process”
-Ed Weaver of CircleWSports will handle all data collection with his “combine tracker app”.

Keep checking back for a list of attending colleges. Due to the NCAA Rectruiting rules, there will be no D1 schools in attendence, however, data will be sent to the college coach database as well as live streamed on the website for coaches to watch.
